                             Show 2 –5:00 p.m.

 Dear Parents:

This packet contains information regarding our upcoming annual Dance Recital.  Your dancers have worked very hard this year, and I am extremely proud of all of them.  I‘m sure you’ll appreciate all that hard work as you sit back and enjoy watching their performances on stage.  Thank you for being a part of this production!

GENERAL INFORMATION

 Rehearsals:

• Do not bring or wear costume – the rehearsals are for dance technique ONLY.  All Costume issues should be resolved at picture time.
• There will be designated seating assignments.  Please look for your class (day & time).
• As soon as your dancer has done all their dances you may leave.
• Your dancer should wear shorts and t-shirts, but bring all dance shoes.

Dress Rehearsals   June 13, 2008  Friday                 SHOWS   June 14, 2008  Saturday

Rehearsal Time SHOW 1: 3:30pm                                                  SHOW 1:  1:00pm

Rehearsal Time SHOW 2: 6:00pm                                                  Arrival Time For Dancers 12:15 pm

                                                                                              SHOW 2:  5:00pm

                                                        Arrival Time for Dancers:  4:15 p.m.

DO NOT JUST DROP OFF YOUR CHILD FOR REHEARSAL AND LEAVE.  HINTZE DANCE CENTER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD.

Dance Company Dances WILL NOT be rehearsed.

 **For Recital arrive dressed in your 1^st costume, with hair and make-up done.  Parents please take your dancer immediately to the dressing area back stage for the crew to line up the classes.**

 **IMPORTANT**  Feed your children before you come.  NO FOOD ALLOWED IN AUDITORIUM!  YOU WILL BE ASKED TO TAKE IT OUTSIDE!

 Costumes/Hair/Make-up:

 Costumes:  Costumes should have initials in EACH item!  HDC is not responsible for any lost items.  Parents are responsible for dressing their own child!

 Make-Up:   Base, Burgundy Lipstick, Mascara, Black Eye Liner, Eye Shadow (No: Bright Colors, stick with browns and cream tones.)  Dance Company members use competition make-up.

 Hair:  Should be in a bun for ballet, unless teacher recommends something else.

 VIDEO CAMERAS:  Are prohibited during the Actual Recital!  I have a professional taping the recital.  Please NO FLASH CAMERAS during the Recital.  You could cause a child to fall off the stage.  You are welcome to take as many pictures in the lobby as you desire.

 **PLEASE NOTE:  ALL TUITION AND FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL FOR PARTICIPATION IN RECITAL.   RECITAL DANCE ORDER WILL BE POSTED BY THE END OF MAY.
